Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Edmora LMS (“Service”) provided by Edmora LMS (“we”, “us”, “our”) at https://edmora.in and institute-specific portals hosted for our customers. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Edmora LMS is a multi-tenant learning management platform for institutes, including features such as courses, live classes, exams, fees, attendance, certificates, messaging, and optional third-party integrations.

2. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
Institute administrators control user accounts within their institute.
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or security risk.

3. Institute responsibility

Each institute using the Service is responsible for its own content, compliance with education and privacy laws, consent for student/parent data, and accuracy of fees, grades, and communications sent through the platform.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with other users.
Harass others or infringe intellectual property rights.
Reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted in writing.

5. Google integration

Optional Google Calendar and Drive connectivity is subject to Google’s terms and policies in addition to these Terms. By connecting Google, you authorize us to access the scopes shown during consent solely to provide requested features. You may disconnect at any time from institute Settings → Google.

6. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with email (SMTP), video (for example Bunny.net), WhatsApp APIs, payment workflows, and other tools configured by institutes or us. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service software, branding, and documentation. Institutes retain ownership of their content and data entered into the Service. You grant us a limited license to host and process institute content solely to operate the Service.

8. Fees and plans

Paid plans, if any, are described in your agreement or order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in writing.

9. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR INR 10,000 IF NO FEES WERE PAID, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnity

Institutes agree to indemnify us against claims arising from institute content, misuse by institute users, or violation of law attributable to the institute’s use of the Service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction if applicable.

13. Changes

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
